Community Development Intern wanted

The Irish Traveller Movement in Britain are looking for committed and enthusiastic people to take on the challenge of our first Community Development Internship. We want all kinds of people of any age to get involved and we don’t expect any qualifications or specific experience. The most important thing we do need is enthusiasm, motivation and commitment, by the bucket load. You will need to have a real desire to learn and develop and a want to make a positive social change for Traveller Communities.

You will get;

Work Experience
- Training and supported learning in a wide range of skills used in ITMBs projects
- Development of a Portfolio and CV
- A deeper understanding of the issues facing Traveller communities
- An opportunity to work on projects aimed at overcoming some of the obstacles facing these communities
- A Level 2/3 NOCN qualification in Community Development
- A wage
- A reference for future employment

There is a simple and straight forward application process and there will be information Open Days in Birmingham MAY 20th and London MAY 21st.

NOCN Level 2/3 Certificate in Community Development

Irish Traveller Movement in Britain are looking to sponsor people through The NOCN Level 2/3 Certificate in Community Development.

If you are working with Travelling Communities then carry on your good work and just join us once every two weeks in either Birmingham or London. We are looking for people who are committed and enthusiastic about social change. We can also offer you a PAID Internship right here at ITMB with all these benefits;
